Puri: Hindi movie actress Kangana Ranaut visited the Puri Jagannath temple amid tight security Friday morning.
She offered prayers to the three deities Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra in the temple.
According to sources, Kangana arrived in Bhubaneswar Thursday evening and visited the Puri Jagannath temple at around 6.00am.
“I visited the temple for the first time. I don’t know why it took me so many years to come here. Everything happens as per His wish,” Kangana expressed to media persons after visiting the temple.

“It feels wonderful to have darshan of the deities. I had the wish to visit the temple this year and it got fulfilled today. I prayed before the Lord that this year brings good fortune and peace for everyone in the world,” a delighted Kangana added.
Later, taking to her Twitter handle the actress wrote, “We always see Krishna with Radha or Rukmani (Laxmi) but in Puri Jagannath Lord Krishna is placed with his siblings, Balrama n Subhadra (Arjun’s wife, Abhimanyu’s mom). Pulsating with the energy of his heart chakra whole place has a healing and soothing sweetness to it, enchanted.”
