Desi girl Priyanka Chopra, who has established herself in Hollywood recently revealed she was also a victim of sexual abuse.
During the 10th annual women’s conference in New York, Priyanka revealed that she had to face sexual abuse and she was not ashamed to speak about it. She said: “All this happened to me when I was very young. Women of our country have faced it but now these cases are coming out.”

Kalki Koechlin:
Kalki Koechlin has created a distinct place in Bollwood with her acting skills. During an interview, she said, “When I was 9, I was sexually abused. I had allowed a man to make a relationship but at that time I was too young for this. Parents should talk freely with their children on sex education.”
Anurag Kashyap:
Anurag Kashyap, a well known filmmaker who has given films like Gangs of Wasseypur (2012), was also a victim of sexual abuse. Anurag had suffered it for many years. Anurag said that it was nightmare for and to come out was even more difficult.
Anoushka Shankar: Anoushka Shankar, daughter of star player and composer Pandit Ravi Shankar, also disclosed the sexual abuse she had experienced it during her childhood.
Somy Ali:
Somy Ali, former girlfriend of Salman Khan is a Bollywood actress, writer, filmmaker, model and activist. She runs a non-profit organization named ‘No More Tears’. Somy had previously confessed that at age of 5 she was sexual exploitation.
Rekha:
Evergreen actress Rekha said at the age of 15, her co-actor exploited her. Rekha also said that the incident continued for 5 minutes which left everyone in shock.
Rekha started her career in 1966 as a child actress in the Telugu film Rangula Ratnam, though her film debut as a lead happened four years later with Sawan Bhadon. Despite the success of several of her early films, she was often panned for her looks and it was not until the mid-to-late 1970s that she got recognition as an actress.
