Mumbai: The first look of Ajay Devgan’s film Tanaji was shared by director Om Raut on New Year with a caption that read, “Happy New Year!!! Har Har Mahadev!!! @ajaydevgn @TanhajiFilm.
According to reports, it is the dream project of Ajay Devgan and his own VFX company is working on this Rs 150 cr budget film.
The image shows Ajay and his aides jumping and descending through in the mountains with the help of thick ropes. The actor dressed in a white dhoti, kammarbandh, armour, pagdi (head gear) has his face half-covered and sports intense look in his eyes.
The film also features Saif Ali Khan playing an anti-hero.
Notably, this film will be a biopic film of Maratha warrior Tanaji Malusure who was close friend of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and a brave loyalist.
The Unsung Warrior will hit the theatrical screens 22nd November, 2019.
