Washington: An American Company is going to open the first luxury hotel in space!
Yes, it is true. The hotel will be inaugurated in 2021. Only six people-four tourists and two crew members- can stay in this luxurious space hotel. They will enjoy a 12-day tour package 200 miles above the earth. Tourists will also be provided Internet facility here.
But for this, a space tourist has to spend a whooping amount of `67 crore.
The hotel will be inaugurated in 2021, the process of sending tourists will start from 2022. A space tourist will receive a two-year training that will help him acclimatise to a different atmospheric condition.
Orion Span the US based company has designed this Compact Aurora station out of the earth atmosphere. Its interior is 35 ft by 14 ft which is comparable to Gulfstream jet. It takes 90 minutes to go around the earth. As a result, tourists can experience 16 sun rises and sun sets in 24 hours.
A number of wealthy space tourists have flown to International Space Station (ISS) with the Russian Space Programme.
Similarly, a Texas based company Axiom Space has planned for a commercial space station by 2024.
