Dhamnagar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik granted Rs 7.75 crore under the Amma Gaon, Amma Vikas programme for 262 projects in Dhamnagar block of Bhadrak district.
Attending the programme through video conferencing, Patnaik underscored the need for timely completion of the projects with quality work. The programme was attended by MP Arjun Charan Sethi, MLA Muktikant Mandal and Collector Gyana Ranjan Das, DBO Durga Charan Murmu, tehsildar Abhipsa Patnaik and CDPO Namita Das.
The funds were meant for projects like river renovation, flood control, Kochila barrage construction, stadium construction at Katanapahi, tourism development at Sahid Nagar, Gohiratikiri, a welcome gate at Mangalpur Chhak, development of Kothar bypass, development of Gandhi Ghat and a bridge construction across Baitarani at Pallasahi.
