Mumbai: Artist Ram Indranil Kamath has passed away. He was 41.
Kamath’s body was found in a bathtub at his house in Matunga in Mumbai August 19.
He lived with his mother in Matunga.
Police authorities suspect that Kamath died by suicide Wednesday, saying a note was found from the spot. According to the information received from the police, in the suicide note, Kamath has not held anyone responsible for his death.
Currently, the police is questioning his family and close relatives. According to media reports, Kamath’s body was found in a bathtub Wednesday. After which he was taken to the hospital where the doctor declared him dead. However, the post mortem report is yet to come.
According to reports, Kamath was under stress for quite some time. At the same time, his condition worsened in the lockdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kamath was an artist as well as a photographer. His glasswork paintings were very famous in the art circuit of Mumbai.
He was also a mythologist and called himself the beloved child of Mahalakshmi.
