Hyderabad: Ramya Krishnan, who attained unmatched stardom for portraying the role of Sivagami in Baahubali, mother of Amarendra Baahubali, played by Prabhas is all set to portray as a porn star in upcoming Tamil movie Super Deluxe.
The veteran actress seems to be experimenting with her roles. In the recent past, she has been seen in numerous versatile roles. This will be her first role as a porn star.
Samantha Akkineni is playing the female lead in Super Deluxe. The trailer of the film, which was unveiled a few days ago, has already created quite a buzz on digital media.
Ramya will play the role of a porn star in the film ‘Mallu Uncut’ which is a part of the film Super Deluxe and the name of Ramya’s character is Leela.”
Sources said, Ramya was not the first choice for the film. Thiagarajan Kumararaja had first approached Nadhiya but due to busy schedule she declined the proposal, later the director contacted Ramya Krishnan and narrated the story line and she also gave the green signal.
The film also features Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Ramya Krishnan and Mysskin. ‘Super Deluxe’ is slated to release March 29.
Notably, still today, Ramya is best remembered as the menacing Neelambari from the 1999 Rajinikanth-starrer Padayappa.
