Berhampur: The body of an employee of Berhampur University was recovered from a roadside drain Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Philomeno Sabar of Gumma in Gajapati district.
According to reports, Sabar was working as assistant registrar in the varsity. His body was spotted by some locals who informed the police.
Sources said, he had been missing from his house since the last four days following which a complaint was lodged by his family members with Bhanja Vihar police.
The body has been seized and sent for post-mortem.
Meanwhile, locals suspect that he has been murdered and the body was later dumped in the drain.
