Bikers enjoy field day at Jeerang

BHUBANESWAR: A city-based bikers’ group embarked on an adventurous trip to Jeerang from here on the wintry morning of Tuesday.

Six riders Saurav Mishra, PrabirPattnayak, Satamanyu Mohanty, Samir Ray, Pradyot Satapathy and Praveen Sahoo started off from Bhubaneswar Kawasaki showroom towards ‘the Tibet in Odisha’.

It was a foggy morning with almost zero visibility. Challenging and exciting, the fog made the trip all the more exciting. Agendas were made up for 7 am start, but due to fog and low visibility, it got postponed to 8:30 am.

In between the bikers took halts, had some refreshments and resumed. The bikes that were used were Kawasaki’s Ninja-1000, Z-900, Ninja-650, Vulcan-S, Ninja-300. Unfortunately bikers faced some issues with the Vulcan-S. But without panicking and getting confused, the team procured help from service department over phone call and resolved the issue.

Interacting with Orissa Post, Prabir Patnaik said, “We were to go to Jeerango via Behrampur and there we had our good friends to help us out and escort through the route. Kaliprasad Satapathy and Anit Sahu were very cooperative throughout the journey. We also met Ravi Kumar- DSP, Bhubaneswar Police. We spent some amazing time at Gandhi Chowk, Behrampur discussing about Kawasaki Motorcycles, their pros and benefits in day to day usage and performance factors.
