Khurda: Panic gripped Kaipadar area of the district here after three crows were found dead in the locality Friday. This was the second incident when dead crows were found from Kaipadar. Locals had spotted two dead crows a few days ago. The villagers suspected that crows have fallen victim to bird flu. Chief district veterinary officer (CDVO) Naresh Rath said they are taking steps to send an expert team to Kaipadar to take stock of the situation. “No one has informed us regarding the two incidents. We came to know about the dead crows from the media,” he added.
