Jagatsinghpur: Two persons including the Bijay Shankar, son of Bishnu Charan Das, deputy chairman of the Odisha State Planning Board, were injured in a road accident near at Sadeipur chhak on Machhagaon road in this district in the wee hours of Thursday.
Bijay and his friend were returning after attending a marriage function Wednesday night. At about 4am, their car collided with an ambulance.
They were first rushed to the district headquarters hospital here and later shifted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. Their health condition was stable, doctors said.
