Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal Friday appointed several party leaders in organisational posts ahead of its planned organisational polls.
According to a press brief released by the party, Aul MLA Pratap Keshari Dev has been given the charge as the returning officer of the party once again to conduct the organisational polls.
Jajpur MLA Pranab Prakash Das has been appointed as General Secretary (organisation) and former Brahmagiri MLA Sanjay Das Burma has been appointed as General Secretary (headquarters) of the party.
The new appointments have been approved by BJD president Naveen Patnaik, the party said.
