Bargarh: The body of a woman was found Wednesday under a bridge near Bhadigaon under Bhatli police limits in Bargarh district of Odisha, a source said.
According to a source, some locals first noticed a blood-stained knife on the bridge and later on, they found the woman’s body.
On getting the information, police arrived on the spot and launched a probe.
A forensic team was also being deployed to investigate the circumstances under which she died.
Police said that they found blood stains and broken bangles on the bridge and recovered the body from under the bridge.

They also mentioned that an ATM card was found near the body bearing the name Sheela Behera. Police informed that Behera hails from Burla. However, the cops have not been able to conclusively ascertain the identity of the deceased yet.
Police have informed about the incident to family members of Sheela Behera. Following their input, the woman’s identity may be established, a policeman informed.
