Niali: Unidentified miscreants hurled bombs at the residence of a female sarpanch at Pokharigaon here in the wee hours of Monday.
According to sources, five youths reached the village on two motorcycles at 1.30am and hurled bombs at the house of sarpanch Jyotshna Rani Mallick. While no one was injured in the explosion, a wall of her house developed cracks. The sarpanch’s brother-in-law Lingaraj Mallick has lodged a complaint in this regard.
