Cuttack, March 26: Orissa player Biplab Samantray (185 n o) hit an unbeaten century to help Cuttack-A score 367 for seven wickets on the first day of their three-day quarterfinal match against Boudh in the Kalahandi Cup cricket tournament at the Bidanasi Ground here Saturday. Biplab was well-supported by state teammate Alok Sahu (94).

Cricket tourney
Orissa Cricket Association (OCA) will host the inter-district women’s cricket tournament here April 23-30. Thirty three teams will participate in the event with the final coming off at the Bidanasi Ground, April 30.
Selection trial
The selection trials of Bhubaneswar (A & B) cricket teams for the inter-district cricket tournament will be conducted at the Unit-I Boys’ HS Ground in Bhubaneswar, March 29.
