Bhubaneswar: Chennai-based home appliances and kitchenware brand Butterfly Wednesday announced an array of festive offers on purchase of their products for Odisha market. Company’s category head for electrical appliances Venkatesh Kumar and Regional Manager (Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal) Arun Sahoo declared the scheme at the event held in city.
With a purchase of mixer grinder of MG model, customer we get 500 ml vacuum flask gangothri for free. The company is also offering 30 per cent discount on MRP price of pressure cookers. Signature 3B glass stove is free with a purchase of chimney. Customers can purchase LPG GT and LPG SS stove models and can get 5 litre pressure cooker and 3 litre pearl plus pressure cooker respectively. In addition, table top wet grinders are available at upto 25 per cent discount. Power HOB and non-stick are being offered at flat 30 per cent and 25 per cent discount respectively.
The company also launched three mixer grinder models — Tornado, Ruby and Opal at the function. These three models, 750 watts premium mixer, are priced Rs5,937, Rs5,769 and Rs6,077 correspondingly.
According to Venkatesh, Butterfly brand is a market leader in mixer grinder, table-top wet grinders and LPG stoves. “We are present in Odisha for about seven years and we have received good response from our customers here. We are working on R&D and implementing on new products as well. Consumers’ behavior in Odisha is similar to south India, so, any products that went well in south India will succeed here too. We are also studying the market here to keep developing our products accordingly,” he said.
Meanwhile, Sahoo claimed that Butterfly brand takes 40-50 per cent business in festival season. “Festival season here in this state is a big scope for us. We do good business during this season. The brand is also growing about 20-25 per cent every year in Odisha. We are in number two in mixer grinder business and are now an established company here because of our premium and best products,” he said
At present, there are around 14 distributors and 600 dealers have associated with the brand in Odisha.
