Bangiriposi/Baripada: A heavy vehicle carrying onions overturned on a stationary car at Dwarasuni ghat under Bangiriposi block in Mayurbhanj district Saturday.
The car passengers fortunately escaped as they were outside the vehicle. The truck was going from Nasik to Kolkata when the driver lost control on the wheels and the vehicle overturned on the car.
Local police and firefighters rushed to the accident site. The truck driver managed to escape after the accident.
The occupants of the car said that they had escaped from sure death due to the blessings of Goddess Dwarasuni.
