Loisingha: A career counselling camp for adolescent girls was held Sunday at the community centre in Pandesara village under Nuniapali panchayat in Agalpur block of Bolangir district.
The camp, jointly organised by Palli Aloka Library of Nagaon (Kha) and the Azim Premji Foundation, brought together 65 students studying in Class X, Plus II and Plus III from various villages under Nuniapali, Badatika and Jharanipali panchayats.
Resource persons Sandeep Kuanr, Ashok Kumar Pradhan and Hiralal Mishra guided the girls on education, health, entrepreneurship and career opportunities, stressing the importance of self-reliance. Organisers said similar training programmes will be conducted in the coming days to promote empowerment.

The event was coordinated by Prahallad Pradhan and Sushanta Sa, Govind Chandra Bishi, Pintu Pradhan, Prashant Kuanr, Barsha Jued and Namita Pradhan among others.
