Class IX boy walks 1km to school with cobra in bag

Bengaluru: Even the bravest would shudder when they open their school bag and find a cobra instead of books and notebooks.

That’s exactly what happened to a Class IX student from a government faculty in Kamarajnagar, 90km south from right here, who opened his bag and found a cobra nestling in between his books.

Screaming in fear, the boy immediately ran out and threw away the bag. Later, a cobra slithered out of the boy, stunning everyone in the school. A video grasp of the cobra slithering out of the bag has now gone viral.

Sources said, after returning home from classes, the boy had dumped the bag in a corner of his room. He informed that he hadn’t opened the bag until he reached the school.

What’s more terrifying is that the boy had walked nearly 1 km with the sanke inside his bag.

Meanwhile, school officials informed that the snake might have sneaked into the boy’s house and entered the bag while he had dumped it in the corridor.

“It would have been tragic if the boy had put his hand in the bag or had the snake bitten him while he had put the bag on his back and coming to school,” a classmate said.
