Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Thursday approved 761 projects worth Rs 19.92 crore for 85 gram panchayats (GPs) under Ama Gaon Ama Bikash programme.
The proposed projects were approved for 20 GPs of Boipariguda block in Koraput district, 25 panchayats of Digapahandi block in Ganjam district, 27 GPs of Sinapali block in Nuapada district and 13 GPs of Nabarangpur block in Nabarangpur district.
The Chief Minister also sanctioned 209 rural infrastructure projects worth Rs 3.67 crore for Boipariguda block while Rs 6.25 crore for execution of 154 projects in Digapahandi block, Rs 6.75 crore for 274 projects in Sinapali block and Rs 3.25 crore for 124 projects in Nabarangpur block.
