CMO not adhering to Naveen’s ‘3T mantra’

Bhubaneswar: It seems that the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) is not adhering to the ‘3T Mantra’ – transparency, teamwork and technology – espoused by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
For instance, the CMO has not uploaded the property details of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and other ministers for the year 2017-18 in its official website (http:// cm.odisha.gov.in) yet.
Though the members of Council of Ministers have submitted their property declaration for the financial year 2017-18, they have not been put on public view yet. As per practice of the BJD government, the annual property declaration of Chief Minister and all other ministers is usually put up on the website (http://cm.odisha.gov.in /asset) every year by October or November.
However, this year the asset details of the CM and ministers are yet to be uploaded on the public platform. The website is having the asset details of the ministers from 2010-11 to 2016-17.
“I have submitted my property details in August 2018. I never delay in such things. I think all other ministers have also submitted it to the Chief Minister’s Office,” a Cabinet minister told Orissa POST.
Another senior minister also said that he has submitted his asset details on time. “It is one of our main responsibilities. How can I differ from it? Like every year, I have submitted it this year also,” he said.
Asked about non-uploading of these details in the public platform, the minister replied, “I am not aware of that.”
When a senior official of CMO was contacted for comment on this issue, he neither responded to this reporter’s call nor his message.
