BHUBANESWAR: Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar organised the annual BGU Cultural Annual Fest on its premises here recently.
The two day event was kick started with lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Vice Chancellor Sudhakar Panda in the presence of B K Das, Registrar and Paremshwar Nayak, Dean, Birla School of Management, faculty members and students.
The event started with street theatre competition in the afternoon. A fashion show and dance competition were organised which saw participants from different universities across the city. The evening ended with BGU students’ band performance.
On 27th January 2019, the day witnessed different competitions like Quiz, Short Film, Case Study, Solo Song and videogame PUBG. In the evening the winners were felicitated for their effort and performance by Panda.
The winners of street theatre were Somatirtha Purohit and Sweta Bagh for Best Actor male and Female respectively. The dance competition saw the Shangri-la team taking the trophy home where as the Danza- the unison raid and Bantaai group won 1st and 2nd runners up place respectively.
