Joda: A woman and her son have been living helplessly under a tree in front of the district headquarters hospital in Keonjhar for about one month.
The two have allegedly been going without food often. Neither officials nor social activists passing on that way have taken note of the miserable condition of the woman.
For want of food the woman and her three-year-old son have become worn out and emaciated. The woman says she belongs to Jayantigad in Jharkhand. But nothing was known how she landed here.
Joda CDPO Minati Mohapatra has been apprised of the woman’s condition. She said an Anganwadi worker will be sent to the woman to arrange her food and rehabilitation.
