Bhadrak: A 12-year old differently-abled boy was drowned in Genguti river at Mudhapada village of Solampur panchayat near Bhandaripokhari in Bhadrak district Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Ankit, son of Rabindra Behera.
According to reports, Ankit met his watery grave when he accidentally slipped into deep waters of the river while playing with his friends on the bank.
Ankit’s friends informed his family members following which they rushed Ankit to Jajpur hospital, where the doctors declared him ‘brought dead’.
