Laughing Buddha, the adorable little rotund figure, bald head, perturbed belly and a striking smile that furnish our best corners at home is a harbinger of happiness. One look at the statue and you will not gaze away without a smile.

Yes, we are talking about Laughing Buddha, and the correct positioning of the charm in your home.

All of us may have seen laughing Buddha’s statue and many of us may also have kept them in our houses, shops and offices, ears so forth and so on.

But the correct positioning of the statue to get maximum benefits is very important.

The height of the Laughing Buddha should be at least eye level. If the position of the statue is not as such that we have to lower our vision, and this is regarded as disrespect. The statue should not be placed on or near any electrical equipments or moving objects.  This is why, placing Laughing Buddha’s statue on TV sets is denied. His statue should also not be placed on the ground as it is regarded as disrespect for the deity.

The statue should be placed in such a manner that it directly faces the main gate. Laughing Buddha greets positive energy that enters through the front door and enhances it manifold. The next best position is to place the statue on a side table or corner table which is diagonally faces the main door.

The statue of Laughing Buddha should never be kept in kitchen, bathroom or bedroom.

Students can place the statue on their study desk. It will invoke the deity to help them achieve academic goals.
