Bhubaneswar, Nov 30: Orissa grapplers bagged two more medals to take their tally to three in the National Grappling Championships, which concluded at Rohtak, Monday.
On the concluding day, Srikant Sekhar clinched the yellow metal in the GI event to add to the silver he had won in the 85 kg category of the NO GI same event. Priyadarshini Ghatuari bagged the bronze medal in the 58 kg category of the GI event.
Hockey tourney
Sports Hostel Panposh, SAIL Hockey Academy and Sports Hostel Bhubaneswar won their respective matches in the professional division of the Inter-City Gold Cup hockey tournament at Rourkela, Monday.
In the first game, Sports Hostel scraped past Rourkela City Police (RCP) 4-2. Birja Topno, Sibren Lakra, Suraj Minz and Abhisek Lakra scored a goal each for Sports Hostel. Nuas Tirkey and Sanjeeb Barla struck for RCP.
In the second match, SAIL Hockey Academy thrashed Orissa Postal 10-1. Anugraha Kujur and Ashok Lakra scored a brace each. Bhim Yadav, Meet Singh, Ranjit Kullu, Abraham Lugun, Francis Topno and Devi Kujur struck once each for SAIL. Dillip Toppo got one back for the postal side.
