Bhubaneswar: CARE Hospitals, Bhubaneswar, has achieved a medical milestone by performing Eastern India’s first robotic, 3D-guided cementless knee replacement, conducted by London-trained orthopaedic specialist Sandeep Singh.
The surgery was conducted on a 58-year-old retired teacher from Bhubaneswar, who had been suffering from advanced knee arthritis.
The patient was able to stand and walk with support within 24 hours of the procedure, underscoring its effectiveness.
