Niali: An unidentified miscreant hurled egg at expelled minister and Paradip MLA Damodar Rout during a public meeting on the premises of Niali High School field here in Cuttack district Thursday evening.
Though the egg did not hit any of the guests on stage, the miscreant managed to flee from the spot before police could apprehend him.
Dama, however, denied the egg attack and said there is no threat to his life. The Paradip MLA, who attended the ‘Jan Samavesh’ organised by Niali Surakshya Manch on role of Right to Information Act against corrupt administration as the chief guest, also faced protest from Anganwadi workers.
