Nuapada: At least eight persons were injured following the collapse of a platform during the ‘Maut Ka Kuan’ stunt show at Sinapali in this district Monday night.
According to reports, the incident occurred at 9 pm when the platform on which spectators were watching the show collapsed and the audience fell from a height of about 50 feet.
The injured have been rushed to Sinapali community health center. Five of them who sustained critical injuries were later shifted to Khariar and Dharmagarh hospitals.
The stunt show is said to be organised illegally, reports said.
