Anandapur: An elderly woman drowned while taking bath in Baitarani river in Padmapur village under this block in Keonjhar district Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Dali Sahu.
The woman went to Baitarani river to take bath Friday morning. Her feet slipped accidentally, leading to the mishap, sources said.
Those who were bathing nearby rescued and rushed her to Anandapur sub divisional hospital. Later, she died while undergoing treatment.
