Rupsa: A woman reportedly died after coming in contact with the belt of a paddy harvest machine at Bahabalpur under Balasore Sadar block Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Bimala Maiti (64). Reports said she was feeding paddy unto the machine, but her saree got stuck in the belt and she was dragged into the machine.
Critically injured, she was rushed to the district headquarters hospital where she succumbed. Police registered a case of unnatural death.
