post news network, Bhubaneswar, April 30: Ambuja Neotia Group, one the most prominent business conglomerates in eastern India, has launched The Neotia University (TNU) in 32 cities across India under an Act of the West Bengal State Assembly, said chairman Harshavardhan Neotia, during a press conference held at the Mayfair Lagoon in city, Thursday.
The university has invited students, who have successfully cleared their Plus 2 exams, to apply and take benefits of all the available courses. The students can join the courses after clearing the entrance exam scheduled to be held on May 17. Students need not pay any fee to appear in the entrance exam. “The students will enormously benefit as the University is offering various courses in subjects such as Manufacturing Technology – Robots and Automotive Manufacturing, Infotainment – Animation and Video Game Design, Energy Studies, Marine Engineering and Nautical Sciences, Biotechnology and Bioinformatics leading to M.Tech and M Sc degrees, said Ashok S Kolaskar, vice-chancellor of TNU.
“TNU is also offering courses in performing arts and visual arts taught in the Gurukul system, liberal arts –applied economics and applied psychology and languages such as Spanish, Mandarin, English etc leading to MA and MSc degrees after the 12th grade,” Kolaskar added.
The test attempts to ascertain the student’s creativity, aptitude, analytical competence, communication skill and learning ability.
