Deogarh: A newly-wed woman has complained to the police that her ex-boyfriend has circulated her intimate videos and obscene pictures on social media platforms.
The matter came to the fore after the woman, who married another man recently, lodged a complaint with the Kundeigola police in Deogarh district.
The accused has been identified as Bijay Sahu of Chhendipada area in Angul district.
As per the complaint, the girl was in a relationship with Sahu for a couple of years. The man made the videos and took the pictures during the period.
However, a few days back after the girl married another person, Bijay circulated the videos, according to the complaint.
The police have initiated investigation and a manhunt has been launched to nab Bijay.
“The accused Bijay Sahu had kept the obscene videos with him and later he made them viral. A case (98/2018) has been registered. We are trying to nab all those who are involved in this,” said Ratnakar Mallick, Kondeigola IIC.
