Bhubaneswar: Former MLA and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader from Mayurbhanj, Manoranjan Sethi, resigned from the party Friday.
Sethi said he was dissatisfied over ‘irregularities’ in the locality as well as the autocratic attitude of the Mayurbhanj Lok Sabha MP. He had highlighted the issue with the party higher-ups earlier, but to no avail.
Sethi has resigned from the position of BJD’s Mayurbhanj SC Cell chairperson and the primary membership of the party.
