Executive Officer of Brajarajnagar Municipality in vigilance net

Jharsuguda: Vigilance sleuths Wednesday conducted simultaneous raids at multiple places associated with the Executive Officer of Brajarajnagar Municipality Dilip Kumar Patel on charges of possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

According to reports, six separate teams of the anti-corruption agency conducted simultaneous raids at Patel’s government quarter at Mangal Bazaar and Brajarajnagar office in Jharsuguda, parental house at Belmunda in Sundargarh, a house owned by him at Badheimunda in Jharsuguda, in-law’s house at Kalobahal in Sundargarh and an under-construction fuelling station at Samasingha.

The simultaneous raids at six different places were underway till last reports came in and the total value of Patel’s movable and immovable properties is yet to be ascertained, vigilance official sources said.
