Mohana/Keonjhar: As many as four persons, including an elderly woman, were killed in three separate incidents of wall collapse due to heavy rain triggered by cyclone Titli in Gajapati and Keonjhar districts Friday.
While two deaths were reported from Gosani block, an elderly woman died in Kashinagar block in the district. The two labourers of a marble factory, who died in Labanyagarh village of Gosani block, hailed from Balasore district.
Similarly, the elderly woman killed in the wall collapse was a resident of Dhidingiguda village under Kashinagar block. A day earlier, a minor girl, Rutu Shabar, died while her sister, Lalita Shabar sustained critical injuries after the wall of their house collapsed and fell on them at Dindiguda village under Gunpur block in Rayagada district.
Another person died when a rain-soaked wall caved in on him at in Harichandanpur area of Keonjhar.
