Marshaghai: The plus II girl student who had attempted suicide following failure in examination May 19 died Friday while undergoing treatment at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
Subhrata Nayak (17) daughter of Bhramar Nayak of Kusunpur village under Marshaghai block in Kendrapara district had attempted to end her by hanging following her failure in plus II examination. Her family members rescued her in a critical condition and rushed her to Kendrapara district headquarters hospital, and from where she was shifted to Cuttack based SCB Medical College and Hospital.
While undergoing treatment, she died late Thursday night, family sources said.
