Mumbai: Actor, filmmaker Farhan Akhtar turns 45, Wednesday. Born 9 January 1974, Akhtar is one of the most talented person in the Hindi film industry.
The actor-singer-producer-director (all-rounder) is the son of the talented Javed Akhtar.
With films like Dil Chahta Hai, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Bhaag Milkha and Rock On, Farhan is loved by all. However, the shy actor once felt awkward to accept it publicly that he wanted to become an actor.
Out of shyness he studied Commerce. The first two years were okay but after the second year it got too intense and Akhtar realized that he didn’t want to do this and left the college which worried his dad.
Things turned worst after his mother asked him to leave the house then he took up a job as assistant cinematographer to Manmohan Singh and worked on the film Lamhe.
Since then, there has been no turning back for Farhan. He went on to act in numerous hits and has carved a niche for himself in Bollywood. He is the one who brought to us the most loved Kannada movie KGF to threatres in Hindi.
Presently, he is in the news for dating, rumoured girlfriend Shibani Dandekar. The couple is all set to tie the knot in March or April this year. However, there has been no confirmation from both the actors.
