Neetu Singh gave several hit films with many heroes in her career. However, Rishi and Neetu’s pair was liked much, who later became husband-wife. Neetu and Rishi’s love story is no less than a film plot. Neetu was cast opposite Rishi in the Yash Chopra’s film Kabhi Kabhie — this is the time when their affair started — and thereafter they both were seen together in many films.
Before Neetu, Rishi was dating Parsi girl, Yasmin Mehta. He didn’t speak much about Yasmin but he confessed to the media that he was dating Yasmin. After Bobby, Yasmin felt that Rishi had fallen in love with Dimple Kapadia, his co-star in Bobby. Yasmin turned down Rishi’s love because of misunderstanding. In an interview, Neetu said she met Rishi at RK Studio where shooting of his film Bobby was going on. “But we got to know properly on the set of the film Zehreela Insaan. I did not like him at first but after frequent meetings we became friends and then married,” Neetu had said.
The duo got married 22 January 1980. Although Neetu quit her film career after marriage. However, Neetu was at the pinnacle of her career at that time. Neetu made a comeback to the big screen in 2009 with Love Aaj Kal, after marrying Rishi Kapoor.
