Bhubaneswar: A joint team of officials from several departments, Thursday, carried out raids at a Hookah bar in Chandrasekharpur area here.
The sleuths seized huge quantity of articles used in hookahs. The sleuths also took food items from the bar and sent them for testing.
Stringent action will be taken against the bar owner if the seized items are found containing nicotine-based substances during the examination in the laboratory.
The team of officials comprises drugs inspector, Food Safety officer, Excise inspector and police.
