Sajanagad: A video showing the husband of a lady jail official performing all official work in Nilagiri jail in Balasore district has come to the fore.
Mamata Bala Patra has been the jailor –in-charge for the last one year. Her husband Madhabanada Jyotish was seen in the video doing all kinds of official work in the jail like computer operation and medicine distribution.
This has raised many an eye brow. Various quarters have pointed fingers at the jail security and safety of inmate. Patra also admitted she has to face a lot of problems for lack of computer operator and pharmacist. With permission from the higher-ups, her husband helps her in all such official work, the jailer-in-charge explained.
