New Delhi: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MP Rabindra Kumar Jena Tuesday urged the Railway minister to order the construction of a railway over bridge (ROB) at the level crossing No 61 at Basta in Balasore.
While speaking during the Zero Hour in the Lower House, Jena said, “There is a level crossing No 61 at Basta in my parliamentary constituency – Balasore, connecting Balasore and Mayurbhanj districts. It is essential that a railway over bridge needs to be constructed there. The survey for the railway over bridge was completed almost five years ago.”
He further said that the matter was taken up with the Ministry of Railways time and again as this is one of the busiest and most congested routes.
“So, I urge upon the Minister of Railways to immediately order the construction of a railway over bridge at LC-61 at Basta in my parliamentary constituency of Balasore,” Jena added.
