Cuttack, May 2: Juvenile scripted a convincing seven wickets victory over Paramount Club to enter the semifinals of the Sumit Bose Memorial U-16 cricket tournament at the SCB Ground here Saturday.

Opting to bat first, Paramount scored 110 in 38 overs with contributions from Ayushraj Choudhury (22, 51b, 2×4) and Swagat Jena (21, 18b, 2×4). Saswat Mohanty (3/11) and Devi Prasad Bhanja (3/24) bowled well to share six wickets among themselves.

In reply, Juvenile made a mockery of the run chase as they reached the target in only 22 overs for the loss of three wickets. Saswat Mohanty (45,64b, 5×4) and Vinit Mohanty (33, 39b, 5×4) led the run chase. Saswat was adjudged the man of the match for his brilliant batting.

In another match played Friday, Biswabharati Cricket Club beat Mukteswar Cricket Cub by 73 runs to enter the quarterfinals.
