Cuttack, April 3: Khurda, Angul and Cuttack won their respective matches to enter the semifinals of the Nalco Cup State Hockey Championship at the Barabati Stadium here Friday.

Khurda spanked Dhenkanal 9-0 with Praksash Barla (first, 19^th and 21^st) and Nitin Mukesh Tigga (eighth, 40^th and 45^th) getting hat-tricks. The other goals were scored by Summit Toppo (36^th), Upendra Majhi (51^st) and Sanjiv Ekka (67^th).

In an exciting encounter, Angul scraped past Sundargarh 3-2. Xavier Ekka (fifth), Amrit Lakra (17^th) and Dev Prakash Kujur (56^th) got the goals for Angul, while Suraj Minz(19^th) and Aswin Kujur (65^th) were the scorers for Sundargarh.

In the third match, Cuttack edged out CRPF 3-2. The match was decided in the tie-breaker as it ended in a 1-1 draw in the regulation time.
