Mumbai: After winning laurels for her performance in web-series ‘Lust Stories’, Kiara Advani is on a roll. The actress is all set to star opposite Shahid Kapoor in the Hindi remake of Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy.
Confirming her presence in the project, Kiara expressed her excitement and stated that Arjun Reddy has always been one of her favourite films. She added that the female lead has a very colourful character in the movie and she is very excited to play her part.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the filmmaker who helmed the Southern blockbuster is all praises for Kiara after having her onboard. He said, “Kiara epitomises the female character in the film to the T. She has the perfect combination of innocence and maturity that’s so important for the character.”
Notably, the Telugu blockbuster starred Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey in lead roles. ‘Arjun Reddy’ showcases the love story of a medical student who falls in love with his junior.
Produced by T-Series and Cine1 Studios, the movie is all set to go on floors next month.
