Koraput: Amid ongoing border dispute with Andhra Pradesh, Koraput Collector Abdaal M Akhtar Saturday reviewed ongoing development works at a number of villages under Kotia panchayat. He also held discussions with local residents about issues being faced by them.
According to an official, development works are underway at several villages including Madkar, Doliambo, Phatuseneri and Phagunaseneri under Pottangi block in the district. Akhtar visited a British Era road in a remote village of Kotia panchayat.
The Collector also assessed damages caused by cyclone Gulab. He inspected a dilapidated bridge at Madkar and another at Tadibalsa which were washed away in the cyclone.
