Bhawanipatna: A woman was killed and three others were critically injured after a lightning strike in Kalahandi district Sunday afternoon.
The incident took place in Baladiamal village under Junagarh police limits when the victims were returning home after working in agricultural fields.
The deceased has been identified as Sanchita Biswal. The injured, Khiradei Pradhani, Sanjukta Lahajal and Bhumisuta Lahajal, were rushed to the Junagarh Community Health Centre, where they are currently undergoing treatment.
Police reached the spot after receiving information and initiated an investigation.
