Keonjhar: A man died while his son sustained critical injuries after their motorbike collided with a truck at Bilepada area near Joda Wednesday night.
The deceased was identified as Sarat Chandra Dash. His son Subrat is undergoing treatment at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
According to reports, the accident occurred when Sarat’s bike collided with the truck while the duo was returning home after performing rituals of Laxmi Puja at several shops.
Though Sarat and Subrat were rushed to the district hospital in critical condition, the former died while undergoing treatment.
Later, Subrat was shifted to Cuttack after his condition got deteriorated.
