Bargarh: A man was allegedly hacked to death over a property dispute at Banda village near Bargarh Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Panchanan Sahu.
Family members of the deceased alleged that Sahu was brutally killed over a property dispute.
According to sources, Sahu was working at his farmland Saturday morning when he was attacked with sharp weapons, injuring his head and shoulders.
Locals informed his son after finding Sahu lying in a pool of blood. His son immediately took him to VIMSAR Hospital in Burla, but Sahu succumbed to his injuries on the way.
Bargarh Town Police have registered a case and started an investigation into the matter.
