Aska: A man accused of killing his elder brother and disposing his body into a septic tank after chopping it into pieces at Jayapur village under Aska police limits in Ganjam distric, was nabbed after a gap of 10 months Friday.
Reportedly, Babula Patra, whose mutilated body had been recovered inside a septic tank behind his house January 26 this year, had been murdered by his younger brother Babula Patra, a murder convict who was out of jail on parole.
Earlier in February, two persons including Babula’s father Banamali Patra had been arrested by Aska Police in connection with the case while the prime accused Santosh was on the run.
Acting on a tip-off, Aska Police arrested Santosh while he had visited his village after absconding for 10 months. He will be court forwarded after further interrogation, police said.
